A public forum and panel discussion

Ideas for Media Education in the Classroom and the Familyroom
Pioneer media educator and author,Chris Worsnop will present a 
practical 
workshop for teachers and parents on Friday, December 8 from 4 - 6 
pm in 
the Library at St. Patrick's High School, 6067 Quinpool Road, Halifax.  
Admission is $7.00.  ($5.00 for members of the Association for Media 
Literacy.)  Space is limited so people are advised to call 453-2479 to 
reserve a seat.  Participants are asked to bring a copy of the local tv 
listings for the week including Dec. 8, or a few travel brochures, or a 
family photo album.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Association for Media Literacy -Nova 
Scotia and ScreenScene,  the Atlantic Film Festival's program for young

The Association for Media Literacy - Nova Scotia was founded in November 
1992
literacy among students, parents, educators and the
general public. Members include teachers, parents,
students and media professionals and is open to
everyone.
